Golf de Val Quéven
56530 Quéven

Designed by Yves Bureau and built upon what was previously agricultural land, Val Quéven rolls around the gently undulating Scorff valley. Right at the very heart of the Breton countryside, this beautifully landscaped course contains a number of fine oaks and horse-chestnut trees in a pleasantly wooded setting.
Open enough but testing at times, the course runs clockwise on the way out and anti-clockwise on the way back with the second half wrapped around the first. There’s not a lot of water to worry about but there are plenty of bunkers and the relatively large and tricky greens render three-putting commonplace. One unusual hazard to be found here is a tumulus, which is a mound of earth and stones raised over a prehistoric grave. If your ball lands on it, check the local rules before claiming relief!
